Top-notch studies for the future Test Engineers. Enrolled students are attending this free-to-attend course in the summer of each year at Devbridge/Cognizant Softvision Vilnius or Kaunas offices. A few candidates join the Devbridge/Cognizant Softvision team as a paid employee for the Academy period (two months) to learn and work. Ones who finish the Academy successfully are invited to continue employment on full time or to start career as junior software testing engineers at Devbridge/Cognizant Softvision.

The Academy has two phase based admission. First of all, candidates have to apply - upload their resume and answer to a few questions by the registration deadline. Best candidates (80) will be invited to the second phase - the remote admission workshop - where we will introduce the Sourcery academy, tell more about what we do as testers and have a fun workshop challenging candidates critical thinking, problem solving, communication and team working skills. Finally we will offer an opportunity for 40 academy members (Kaunas+Vilnius) to attend our limited access free-of-charge academy for testers. This year the Academy will be held remotely. Best accepted candidates will be offered a paid internship for the Academy period to learn and work on the real projects with our development teams. In parallel they are expected to attend academy to develop their skills.

Academy students are given an opportunity to be immersed in a professional two-month remote course for the testing beginners, build their competence through trainings and individual or groups assignments. Students will discover all types, techniques and testing approaches: learn the foundations of testing, functional testing for web applications and API, foundations of non-functional testing and foundations for test automation. The Academy members have to work with our top specialists as their lecturers and mentors. They work in teams of five people and try to enrich their knowledge in testing with the help of software testing professionals. This year the Academy will be held remotely.

The Academy was created to enable students the opportunity to improve their skills and prepare for a career in the IT industry. The Academy starts in the middle of July and lasts until the end of August. Each participant of the academy have to attend weekly remote lectures where the experts from Devbridge teach them to discover all types, techniques and testing approaches required for junior test engineers. At the end of term all students will receive a certificate of completion the Sourcery Academy for Testers. This year the Academy will be held remotely.

Best accepted candidates join the Devbridge team as a paid employee for the Academy period (two months) to learn and work. At the end of term all students receive a certificate of completion the Sourcery Academy for Testers. The participants are observed throughout the course by assigned mentors who provide the overall score that reflects student's progress. An assessment of the final evaluation workshop consists 30% of the final grade. Ones who finish the Academy successfully are invited for an interview to continue employment on full time or to become Junior Test Engineers at Devbridge. This year the Academy will be held remotely.

Usually the lectures are held at 'Devbridge' Kaunas and Vilnius offices, however, it is possible to have online academy this year regarding the situation of COVID-19. We will inform those candidates who will entered the second phase of the admission.

If you are eager to get into the tech industry - choose software testing! This free-of-charge two-month course is for smart, motivated people who are thinking outside the box as well as willing to learn core testing basics to kick start their career in IT and help create better software for end-users. We do not require any testing skills from the candidates before the academy. However, we guarantee you that after you graduate the academy you will know a lot about all types, techniques and testing approaches required for junior test engineers.

Yes, a personal laptop is required. However, in case you do not have it, the company offers the possibility to use the laptop during lectures at Devbridge Kaunas or Vilnius office (the city depends on the location where you took the entrance test).

The Academy has two phase based admission. First of all, try to do your best during the first phase - apply a perfect resiume that would reflect your interest in IT industry, i.e., courses, events, conferences, meetups that you had attended and ect. Also confirm only fully and precisely answered questions. Best performing candidates (80) are invited to participate at the admission workshop which is a fun workshop challenging candidates critical thinking, problem solving, communication and team working skills. During the workshop use your best personal skills in order to achieve the best result for your team.

The Academy provides weekly lectures (once or twice per week). Five hours long lectures usually starts at 10 am each Tuesday in Vilnius or Wednesday in Kaunas (schedule may change). This two-month course ir available in the Summer of each year (from July to August).

If you want to graduate the academy successfully, you will have to dedicate 10-15 hours per week. Approximately five hours should be dedicated for each lecture. Other time should be dedicated for your personal development in order to build your competence through trainings and individual or groups assignments.
